The Planning, Building & Safety, and Engineering departments work together in the physical development of the City of Turlock. Whether it is the building of new homes, a new shopping center, constructing new roads or repairing old ones, and other public infrastructure projects the Development Services Division works together to protect the public's health, safety and welfare.

DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES
One time charges applied to new development, redevelopment, expansions and tenant improvements depending on the proposed use.

DEVELOPMENT FEE ESTIMATE

LANDSCAPING
What is allowed for your front yard landscaping, in your parkway strip, and street trees.

The City received five bids for the SR-99 and Fulkerth Rd. Interchange Reconstruction Project. The apparent low bidder was Agee Construction of Clovis, CA, with a bid of $11,295,867. The City Council will consider awarding an agreement at a special meeting on 10/5/18. Funding for the project is made available through SB 1 ($5.5M) and Capital Facility Fees ($5.8M). No General Fund monies are proposed to be used. For more information and bid results, follow the attached link.
