The Planning, Building & Safety, and Engineering departments work together in the physical development of the City of Turlock. Whether it is the building of new homes, a new shopping center, constructing new roads or repairing old ones, and other public infrastructure projects the Development Services Division works together to protect the public's health, safety and welfare.

One time charges applied to new development, redevelopment, expansions and tenant improvements depending on the proposed use.

Traffic Advisory from Caltrans, District 10: Caltrans will close various off and on-ramps on southbound and northbound State Route 99 (SR-99) from Lander Avenue to Hammett Road for road construction and maintenance. Work will be performed Sunday, June 16, 2019, through Friday, June 21, 2019, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. No two consecutive #ramps will be closed simultaneously. Motorists should expect delays of 10 minutes and additional lane closures throughout this stretch of SR-99 during nighttime hours. Alternate routes should be taken if possible. #caltrans #Highway99
