Thursday, July 22, 2021CHILD PORNOGRAPHY SUSPECT ARRESTED
On Thursday, July 22, 2021, Turlock Police Department Detectives arrested 26 year old Vy Timmy Tuy, resident of Turlock, following a two-month investigation that originated after receiving three Cyber tips on May 20, 2021. These tips were investigated by a High Tech Crimes Detective and leads in the investigation pointed them to a residence located in the 1300 block of Geer Road.
On July 17, 2021, Detectives interviewed Tuy at his home and during their visit were able to locate additional evidence. This evidence was then brought back to the Turlock Police Department for processing and additional evidence of these crimes was located.
Today, Tuy was taken into custody at the Turlock Police Department without incident. Tuy is facing three separate felony child pornography charges. There were no local victims identified during this investigation.
