Press Release
Thursday, December 16, 2021Turlock Poker Room Sponsors “Clear the Shelter” Event for Turlock Animal Services
The Turlock Police Department is excited to share that the Turlock Poker Room has partnered with our Animal Shelter for the fourth time to sponsor all animal adoptions for the month of December!
With the exception of 2020, this year marks the fourth year the Turlock Poker Room has generously funded all animal adoption fees during December! Animals available for adoption are posted on the Turlock Animal Services Facebook Page and on PetHarbor.com. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the day of available adoption for each animal, the first appointment / first pick for an animal will be selected for the adoption.
No holds will be issued.
In order to ensure the adoptive animals have a home, the adopter must have proof of home ownership or rental agreement at the time of adoption. All other adoption guidelines apply. Adoptions include the pet being spayed/neutered prior to the adoption, rabies vaccination, first vaccines, microchip and a pet license for City of Turlock residents. Non-Turlock residents can still adopt, this is not just for Turlock
residents.
Help us to clear the shelter before the New Year! Shelter hours are 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday – Saturday. Contact the Turlock Animal Shelter at (209) 656-3140 to make an appointment to come in for a pet adoption!
